Introduction to COIL Webinars take place on the second Wednesday of each month at 12:00pm ET.

The SUNY COIL Idea Hub series is a chance to do a deep dive into the specifics of how COIL works in relation to four specific areas: Technology, Critical Interculturality, Research, and Careers. Each Idea Hub meets once a month.

Each Idea Hub is moderated by two stars of the SUNY COIL Global Partner Network, bringing their viewpoints, expertise, and networks to the party.

As one participant and COIL Coordinator — Elenora Bagatelia from Oakland Community College — noted, “These Idea Hubs are invaluable resources to learn from each other, network, and create new resources for our local campus communities together!”

In celebration of the SUNY COIL Center’s 20th anniversary, Idea Hubs are open to everyone during the 2025-2026 year! Idea Hubs take place every Friday at 11:00am ET (except fifth Fridays).

Each month, we offer an opportunity to hear from experts in the fields of COIL and Virtual Exchange. These ongoing conversations are for the SUNY COIL Virtual Exchange community — both Global Partner Network members and non-members. Everyone is welcome. The webinar focuses on hot button issues: assessment, experiential learning, and internationalizing curriculum, as well as initiatives connected to COIL such as inclusive technology, data privacy, Sustainable Development Goals, Critical interculturality, Translanguaging, and COIL specific Research.

Community Webinars take place on the third Wednesday of each month at 12:00pm ET.

Have you ever wanted a COIL Help Desk? Our SUNY COIL Clinics allow Global Partner Network members to get answers to their questions about anything COIL relate. From what icebreakers to use, to how to set up an attribute to track data, to how best to create a team project — we talk about whatever you need! If we don’t have an answer, we will find a source to support you.

Clinics take place on the fourth Wednesday of each month at 9:00am ET and 4:00pm ET.

The Zoom link and additional information is sent out to all Global Partner Network Members via email.
