Wing-Kai To is a Professor of History and International Education and former Assistant Provost for Global Engagement at Bridgewater State University. Prior to returning to his full time faculty position, he spearheaded the development of the COIL and Virtual Exchange Initiative from 2020 to 2024. He is an active scholar-practioner of internationalization focusing on both global learning and student mobility. He has led the development of over a dozen COIL partnerships and worked closely with his colleague Dr. Alexandra Balconi in elevating Bridgewater State University as an active member of the SUNY COIL network and a pioneer for COIL initiatives in the Massachusetts public university system.
