Mary Beth Goodrich brings accounting to life through experiential learning, creativity, technology, and global connection. She has been in higher education for over 25 years and is Academic Director of Jindal School of Management’s Online Programs. She is an enthusiastic champion of programs such as Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL)—designing courses where students collaborate across countries. From partnerships with Deakin University in Australia to being awarded an international education grant supporting expanded COIL initiatives with Sheffield Hallam University in England, she is dedicated to redefining what it means to learn accounting and business in a global, digital world. Known for integrating enterprise systems, robotic process automation, data visualization, and generative AI into her courses, she strives to create unique, immersive experiences. As an award-winning educator and innovator, she inspires students to see accounting not only as a discipline—but also as a creative, connected, and transformative profession.
“COIL is not just studying about differences – it is living them. It offers students who might never have the opportunity to study abroad to gain cultural awareness, navigate time zones and find effective ways to globally collaborate.”
