
Elizabeth Frank

Elizabeth Frank is a German economist with over 25 years of international experience, having lived and worked in Germany, the United Kingdom, Ireland, and Spain. Since 2011, she has served as International Academic Coordinator at the School of Business and Economics at Universidad CEU San Pablo. Bridging extensive professional practice with academia, she brings a distinctive perspective to internationalisation in higher education. She is an active member of her institution’s expert community for Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) and Blended Intensive Programmes (BIPs), and has coordinated numerous virtual exchange and Erasmus BIP initiatives with partner institutions across Europe, North America, Africa, and Asia. Her work has been recognized with several awards, including the Premio CEU Ángel Herrera for best international cooperation project (2021) and an institutional distinction for promoting internationalisation (2024). Elizabeth is committed to fostering meaningful, student-centered global learning experiences.

Project Summary:
What skills do future global leaders need to combine? What UN SDG are/should be their priority? Students reflect on their social media profile(s), what does it say about them? Would it reflect the image of a motivated person, with values and with interests and concerns? Does it reflect the future global leader? Which social networks would they share with their potential future employer? How would they choose to promote themselves globally?
Learning Outcomes:
- Critical evaluation of the competencies and values required of future global leaders.
- Reflection on students’ own professional digital identity, and effective communication of their personal leadership profile in a global context.
