
Ann Giralico Pearlman

Ms. Giralico Pearlman’s involvement in COIL began in 2011 as a fellow in the COIL Institute. She led the COIL Faculty Learning Community (FLC), supported by an internal grant. She also served as the first chair of the COIL Steering Committee, a campus-wide standing committee, and played a critical role in establishing the foundation for COIL at Brockport. As a COIL Adjunct Faculty member, her collaborations included the Universidade Federal de Pernambuco, Brazil, Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, Netherlands, and the University of Guelph, Canada. Giralico Pearlman has also assisted faculty in designing and implementing numerous COIL collaborations with institutions around the world. In collaboration with colleagues, she has published three articles in international and national peer-reviewed journals, contributed two chapters to international and national peer-reviewed books, and delivered 17 presentations at international and national conferences, 25 presentations at the state and regional levels, and numerous presentations locally.
