
Hien Ngo
Phenikaa University, Vietnam
Hien Ngo is a senior lecturer and public health researcher at the Faculty of Public Health, Phenikaa University, Hanoi, Vietnam. Her research and publications focus on e-waste, occupational and environmental health risk assessment and management, mental health, and capacity building in occupational health and safety.
She co-taught the “Environmental Health and Sustainable Development Goals” course at the Hokkaido Summer Institute (2022–2024) and contributed to developing an Occupational Safety, Health, and Environment engineering curriculum at VNU-Hanoi University of Science. She serves as Secretary of Workplace Health Without Borders – US Branch and is an active member of the International Society of Environmental Epidemiology, the American Industrial Hygiene Association, and a board member of the Vietnamese Industrial Hygiene Association and Vietnam Ergonomics Association.
Since 2023, she has led COIL initiatives as a Coordinator, Instructor, and Mentor, supporting collaborative teaching and guest lecturing between Vietnamese universities and institutions in the USA and Mexico.
