Pamela Kostur
Centennial College, Canada
Pamela Kostur is the Program Coordinator of the post-graduate Interactive Media Management Program at Centennial College in Toronto, Canada. Pamela’s classes focus on strategy and design thinking, encouraging students to consider “users” as human beings on the other side of the screen. The right to understand is at the heart of Pamela’s work and teachings. Sharing that belief is her favourite part of her work.
“Collaboration is key to success in the interactive media industry, and the more opportunities we provide students to collaborate, the better! Taking students outside their comfort zone is also important. Sure, they could do these activities with each other, in the context of their regular classes. But, international collaborations expose them to other ideas, other approaches to similar work, challenge their thinking, and open up opportunities for networking, after the COIL.“
