Across three collaborative experiences with Professor Duncan (University of Central Arkansas), we addressed issues concerning the body, femininity, cultural diversity, and microaggressions. We also explored the significance of plurality for the construction of democratic societies in both Venezuela and the United States. I am currently working with Professor Chiara De Santi (Farmingdale State College) on the issue of migration in Italian cinema and the archetypal construction of the hero’s journey. Our students are analyzing video games and movies. Evidence of each collaborative work can be found here.
