Racheal Fest, PhD, is a Specialist in Pedagogy and COIL Coordinator in the Faculty Center at SUNY Oneonta. She leads programs and convenes communities dedicated to critical, inclusive, and active teaching and learning practices. She also teaches interdisciplinary courses.
Dr. Wijdan Tawfiq is an Assistant Professor and Chair of the Fashion and Textiles Department at King Abdulaziz University, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Her research delves into the social psychological aspects of dress, focusing on how clothing influences identity construction and self-presentation. She is also dedicated to advancing sustainable fashion by tackling critical social and environmental sustainability issues. Dr. Tawfiq’s commitment to fostering innovative and collaborative learning environments is demonstrated through her active participation in two Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) projects.
Sarah Wyman, PhD, teaches and writes on 20th and 21st century Comparative Literature with a focus on poetry, literary theory, sustainability, and the visual. She is a COIL coordinator and a co-coordinator of the SUNY New Paltz Sustainability Faculty Learning Community and teaches poetry reading and writing workshops at Shawangunk prison. She is the author of 2 published two poetry books: Sighted Stones (FLP 2018) and Fried Goldfinch (Codhill 2021) and co-editor of the forthcoming Sustainability Education and Action for Learning and Community Engagement (Palgrave/Springer 2024).
