COIL methodology can support a wide range of needs on a campus. In this session presenters will share specific ways COIL has been connected with specific projects and curriculum to support specific needs both at the campus level and at larger scales as well. We will explore how this can help both with getting COIL started on your campus and with sustaining COIL projects beyond the implementation.
Abigail Bryant holds a master’s degree in Sociology with a concentration on Race, Class & Gender. She works at SUNY System Administration as Director of Student Success in the Office of Opportunity Programs. She’s passionate about expanding high impact practices for all students.
Carlos Moreira is a mechanical engineer with a master’s and a PhD in business administration. He has been teaching for 27 years. Carlos carried out the first Coil project in Brazil in 2013 and has not stopped since, having participated in around 40 projects with partners from the United States, Netherlands, France and Portugal. Carlos is also a mentor for coil projects currently.
