While certain peer reviewed journals and collections focus specifically on COIL practices (e.g. Journal of Virtual Exchange), your COIL research can also be published in journals related to various disciplines and theoretical frameworks. To help identify where your research could be published, consider the following questions:

  1. In what ways does COIL serve as a tool for achieving specific pedagogical, (inter)disciplinary, linguistic, administrative/programmatic goals?

2. What questions pertaining to my research, teaching, or program management does COIL help to address?

Here is the Webinar Presentation , Developing and Finding a Publication Venue for COIL Research by Dr. Olga Aksakalova, LaGuardia Community College, City University of New York (CUNY).

And here is the Padlet of Publishing Resources, including a helpful guide.

Thank you, Olga!
