Call for SUNY Participants for COIL Latin America Academy 3

We are pleased to announce the Request for SUNY Participants for the COIL Latin America Academy 3 (LAA3). The call is open until July 9th. The program and benefits are outlined on the project website at

LAA3 provides course development support in Fall 2015 for courses to be taught in Spring 2016. Accepted LAA Fellows are required to participate in these activities:

  • Partnership building activities on COIL Networks from July 9th to July 27th, 2015
  • Online Course Development Program from September 7th until October 12th, 2015
  • Face-to-face workshop in Cuernavaca near Mexico City from September 17-20, 2015
  • Co-teaching a COIL module or COIL-enhanced course in the Spring 2016 semester

In summary, the benefits for COIL Latin America Academy Fellows include:

  • Support in establishing a successful international partnership
  • Access to professional development and support through the Academy workshop, online course, and other activities to support course creation
  • Travel funding to attend the Academy workshop in Mexico and Partner Campus Visits
